Reformer Pilates

Core, Strengthen, Transform

“In 10 sessions, you feel better, 20 sessions you look better, 30 sessions you have a completely new body.”  Joseph Pilates

Dynamic Total Body Work Out

Favoured by hot bodied celebrities like Karlie Kloss, Alessandra Ambrosio, Kelly Brook and Vanessa Hugens to name a few, Reformer Pilates uses the Pilates reformer machine.  Generally more intense and more dynamic than mat based Pilates as the machine uses a series of resistance springs to alter the weight of exercises.

Everyone can use the machines, we have 4 in our studio ensuring you get all the personal attention you could every need to achieve your fitness goals.  They are fun and challenging, making a change from other forms of exercise whilst achieving dramatic results.

If you've done mat Pilates before, you're likely to know what amazing core-strengthening work it is. Add on resistance, a great sound track and dynamic flow and you have your self a body changing routine.

Being aware and present when exercising is a central ethos of Studio One Islington, and it is no surprise that within the reformer pilates classes you are encouraged to breath through routines, whilst being made aware of exactly which muscle group is being.  Focusing the mind, increases results!

Our small classes and our experienced teachers make Studio One Islington an inspiring place to learn.  You will receive personal attention to ensure not only that you are confident with the machines, but also the exercises ensuring your progress and helping to achieve your fitness goals.

Reformer pilates machines can take a couple of classes to learn and our expert teachers are on hand to assist and teach you all you need to know.  We do therefore recommend that if you have not tried the discipline before you take a Level 1 class to ensure you understand the fundamentals and get get the most out of every class.
