Through dance Harriet began to develop an awareness of movement through the body. She was introduced to yoga whilst training as a contemporary dancer and immediately wanted to learn more. Harriet developed a regular practice, exploring Hatha, Iyengar and Ashtanga. Yoga transformed the way in which she engaged with the body, allowing her to consider a more mindful approach to movement.
Harriet completed her 200hrs in Vinyasa Flow under the guidance of Emily Clare-Hill and Michael James Wong. Her classes are technically aware and grounded in thoughtful themes and yogic philosophy. Harriet's training in dance influences her sequencing, facilitating a sense of ease and fluidity throughout the asana practice. She loves the continuous flow of the moving, breathing body. Harriet guides you through dynamic sequences that build strength and heat, focusing on breath, alignment and a consideration of the whole of the being. Harriet believes Yoga is a way of life and is passionate to share the transformative and healing benefits of this holistic practice with others.
