Marco discovered yoga in an unconventional way. In the 1980s he began his career as a theatre performer with the Lindsay Kemp Company, which gave him the opportunity to travel and work across Europe and Asia (England, Spain, Greece, Italy and Japan to name but a few!).
While on his travels, Marco also immersed himself in the study of various types of physical and mental training techniques in both traditional and eastern disciplines, studying and practicing martial arts, taekwondo and modern yoga. When he was based in the US he also studied yoga extensively with Bryan Kest, Ana Forrest, Erich Schiffmann and Seane Corn. (super impressive!)
Following various experiences teaching Yoga in Los Angeles (cool!) and Catalina Island, in 1997 Marco closed his vintage clothing business and devoted his life to teaching yoga in Italy. He not only worked in the first personal training studio in Rome but also introduced Power Yoga to Italy. (OMG!!!!)
With twenty years of experience teaching yoga, Marco has never stopped expanding his research regarding everything related to the individual’s lifestyle, nutrition choices and training techniques, as he firmly believes in the importance of understanding the mind-body connection from a holistic perspective.
